Eating organically doesn’t mean you need to break the bank. Start eating clean today by knowing which produce is the cleanest and which is the most contaminated with pesticides. The Environmental Working Group (EWG) created the shopper’s guide to choosing the cleanest produce. The Dirty Dozen are the 12 items that have the most pesticide residues AFTER being washed while the Clean 15 have the least amount of pesticide residue after being washed. Be sure to choose locally grown organic or conventional produce as often as you can.
