This class focuses on how to feed the whole woman; her body, mind and spirit. She has a beautiful way of showing us that each body is wise, intuitive and is communicating with us at all times. She helps us to slow down and start listening to our internal signals so we can truly fuel ourselves.

Mindful Mothering Circle

As a Lactation educator and mother, Christa understands that motherhood is ALL. THE. FEELS. It’s awesome, rewarding, exhausting, challenging, frustrating, adorable, joyful, painful, and pleasurable and as her mother says, “the hardest job you’ll ever love”. As mothers, we need community, we need our tribe, we need our village, we need our motherHOOD. This is NOT meant to be done alone. Christa started a Mindful Mothering Circle to get moms out of their houses and come together in community to talk about the highs, the lows and everything in between. It’s a place where mothers can come to deepen their relationship with themselves, their bodies, their babies and their community. You are not alone in this, we are here to support each other on this journey.


Even the strongest relationships are strained during the transition to parenthood. Lack of sleep, never-ending housework and new fiscal concerns can lead to profound stress and a decline in marital satisfaction — all of which affect baby’s care. Not surprisingly, 69% of new parents experience conflict, disappointment, and hurt feelings.

These research-based Bringing Baby Home

workshops prepare couples for life with baby and helps them be the best parenting team possible. In a relaxed and supportive environment, parents learn to strengthen their relationship and foster baby’s development during this challenging time. They build on what Dr. Gottman and colleagues found is the best predictor of marital adjustment after baby arrives: the quality of friendship in the marriage.


This workshop combines scientific research and public education to improve the quality of life for babies and children by strengthening their families.
