Happy July! This watermelon cooler recipe serves as a great holiday weekend cocktail or mocktail. We have been on a watermelon kick recently since it’s been unseasonably warm here.
Watermelon is such a refreshing and hydrating snack providing us with vitamins, minerals and antioxidants such as lycopene to help reduce inflammation. Give this a try and let me know what you think!
3 lbs of watermelon (discard rinds and seeds) and chop watermelon flesh into small pieces
3 tbsp of fresh lime juice
***Optional: 1/2 c of vodka***
Blend all together and garnish with mint or basil leaves. Enjoy!
